Process

person looking at notesThe project established peer review of teaching is a cyclical, iterative and reciprocal process. Ideally, reviewer and reviewee negotiate steps within the cycle of peer review and collaboratively decide the purpose, focus and scope of the review process.

The PEER Review of Teaching handbook supports reviewer and reviewee alike in planning, implementing and reporting a peer review cycle that will benefit both. Each page of the guide corresponds to a step in the cycle and is complemented by a video clip. Text and video together guide reviewer and reviewee through the negotiation and decision making process.
